Chat Magazine's Story on Me Based on an Interview About My Wedding to Myself

Chat is a U.K.-based women’s weekly magazine that bills itself as “the original real-life mag – with its weekly mix of the most extraordinary true stories.” Chat “reaches out to touch the reader through heart-stopping moments and the wit and grit of real-life.” A Chat magazine editor reached out to me last fall for an interview, having read somewhere about my decision to have a marriage ceremony in which I married myself, declaring vows to myself for my next chapter in life. This piece was published in the U.K. in Chat magazine's Issue 4 25th January 2024 and was distributed primarily in Europe. The British vernacular made me smile. Hope you enjoy it!
