Just When I Thought I Could Not Be Prouder of My Son, Chris Olsen!
What a year and journey it has been! Not sure if I could be more proud of my son Chris Olsen. He was awarded International Creator of the Year by TikTok at the awards ceremony held last week in Sydney, Australia. Also pictured here is an article from The New York Times, which calls my son a TikTok savant and attributes much of pop star Meghan Trainor's re-emergence to stardom (she is immensely talented) to her collaborations with Chris. In three short years, he has emerged as one of the leading comedic voices and talents on the platform.

Though we, as parents, can take neither full credit nor blame for our children, I am grateful to have taken him to so many lessons, drama camps, auditions and other opportunities that may have led him to this point. Enjoy the ride, Christopher! Follow him @Chris on TikTok (you can view from your browser; you do not have to have an account) and/or Chris Olsen on Instagram or his YouTube channel. I guarantee he will make you smile (and probably laugh). #chrisolsen #tiktokawardsaustralia #tiktokusa #ProudMom #lgbtqpride #mentalhealth #flightfuelcoffee
For Montgomery County, Maryland folks: He will be in the January issue of Bethesda Magazine & Bethesda Beat (a magazine I wrote for when he was younger) as a MoCo native who made the Forbes Under 30 list this year.
