Honored to speak at the Bethesda, Maryland Rotary Club. Metro Bethesda Rotary Club is an energetic, diverse group of community members dedicated to supporting efforts to provide humanitarian assistance locally and internationally. The Club is part of Rotary International, a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers. Rotarians see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Service Above Self, the Rotary motto, guides their community work, along with the Rotary Four-Way Test promoting truth, fairness, friendship, and equity. Humanitarian service is seen as an opportunity to learn about others, not a burden to be completed. Although social connections and business opportunities are also benefits of membership, the central goal is to make our community a better place. All members are encouraged to become involved in service projects, social events, fundraising activities, and leadership opportunities while displaying high ethical standards.
Metro Bethesda Rotary Club meets weekly in downtown Bethesda, MD. Their meetings typically feature a speaker who shares insights about topics as wide ranging as community service, business, local government, and international development.
